Canadian Content, Web Design, Stage Design and Mummification (April 09-12)

Please note: There are no classes for students on Friday, April 13 (parent-teacher conferences in the morning and professional learning in the afternoon)

Media Studies 120
The students will continue with their exploration of Canadian entertainment this week. They will continue to view and listen to Canadian content and read articles about past, current and popular Canadian content. The students will also complete some activities in preparation for National Canadian Film Day next Wednesday, April 18. Links to the student blogs and some of the assignments can be viewed at the course blog.

Digital Production 120
The students will continue the Web Design Unit this week. Students will be working on their own website and should have most (or all) of the design of their websites completed by the end of the week. The assignments and links to student blogs can be viewed here.

BBT 10
Most of the students are working either on the Business and Enterprise Unit (Music Concert Planning) or the Automotive Technology Unit. Students are reminded that they should have their second unit completed by early next week. Links to the student blogs and the units can be viewed here.

History 10
The students will finish the documentary, Egypt's Golden Empire and then review their notes. Following this activity, the class will look at the structure of government in Ancient Egypt. The students will also look at religion, the afterlife and mummification in Ancient Egypt. Students are reminded to review their notes each day in preparation for the unit test which will be next week.
