National Canadian Film Day, Peer Assessments, Automotive Careers and Hieroglyphics (April 16-20)

Media Studies 120
The students will complete their unit on Canadian content this week with a final assignment. Students will also end the unit by participating in a webcast hosted by REEL Canada for National Canadian Film Day on Wednesday afternoon.  Links to the student blogs and most of the assignments can be viewed at the course blog.

Digital Production 120
This will be the final week for the Web Design Unit. Students will finish their websites and also complete self (and peer to peer) assessments before the websites are evaluated. The assignments and links to student blogs can be viewed here.

BBT 10
The students should be working or starting to work on their third unit this week. Most students are working on either the Automotive Technology Unit or the Business and Enterprise Unit (Event Planning). Students who are still working on the Coding Unit should finish it as soon as possible. Links to the student blogs and details on the units can be viewed here.

History 10
The students will complete their study of Ancient Egypt this week. The students will finish the unit by looking at Egyptian afterlife and hieroglyphics. The students will have a review for their Ancient Egypt test on Wednesday or Thursday. The test for Ancient Egypt is scheduled for this Thursday or Friday.  Students are reminded to consider what topic from Ancient Egypt they want to select to explore for the research assignment they will complete next week.
